10 Things You Must Improve Everyday To Have an Amazing Life

Do you want to have an amazing life?

“The only way to have an amazing life is to have an amazing day every day.”

Then the question is, “How Can I have an amazing day that, if repeated, will create an amazing life?”

Autheor Dr.  Myles Munroe responded, ” There are 10 things you must improve every day that will eventually improve your life and make it fulfilling.”

You don’t necessarily need to make huge, dramatic changes…A small, constant step forward daily will have a compound effect.

Whatever “amazing life” means to you, improving the following 10 things everything will help you.

Let’s dive into it.

1. Mindset

This is about thinking about how you think of yourself and life.

A set of beliefs that you hold about life should constantly be improved from negativity to optimism, from thinking of failure as the end of life but something you can learn from.

Think abou the limiting beliefs you hold derived from what people said about you and resolve to grow beyond all that.

2. Health

Your body is a vehicle through which you experience life. If the vehicle is not working well, you won’t go anywhere.

Therefore, you should improve your health daily: (maybe) sleep 15 minutes earlier to rest better, take stairs instead of elevators to work out your muscles, and drink more water. Just small improvements. (I need to improve my sleep…I am now beyond my sleep time as I am writing this, LOL

3. Skills

The more skills you have, the more opportunities you have in life.

Every day, learn something new, either to improve your skill or to learn a new skill. Invest in crosscutting skills that make them more valuable in the marketplace, like writing, public speaking, and digital skills.

by the way, I am learning video editing, the Japanese language, and driving now! how about you?

4. Relationships

We, humans, are social beings. The quality of your life will depend on the quality of your relationships.

That’s why you must invest every day in nurturing meaningful relationships with your romance, family, friends, colleagues, community, and YOURSELF. Be a better listener, help someone, give a genuine compliment and recognition, etc.

5. Focus

In a world full of distractions (social media notifications, phone calls, breaking news), the ability to focus on a task at hand is a superpower.

Every day, train the muscle of your focus but create a distraction-free work environment, turn off notifications when necessary, and learn focus techniques. With deep focus, you can achieve more within an hour than a day without focus. (I try to keep my phone in a different room when I want to focus on a task)

6. Habits

Things you do repeatedly take a large portion of your day (waking up, dressing, sitting, showering, etc). You should adapt new habits that can enrich your life. e.g: listening without interruption, reading before bed, exercise, etc

7. Knowledge

The more you know, the more solutions your brain will come up with to deal with life challenges. Every day, sleep more knowledgeable than you work up. Read, listen to the podcast, travel, explore, and ask questions. (I am taking a challenge to ask 10 questions every day)

8. Resilience

Every day, improve your ability to bounce back when life punches you in the face. The truth is, life can get so tough at times. Embrace change and remain flexible in the face of uncertainty, adjusting your approach as needed. Resilient people don’t wish for easier moments, they find ways to be stronger!

9 . Creativity

We become more creative by doing creative tasks. Exercises your creativity by taking up creative hobbies, listening to creative arts, imagining, painting…Every day, use your brain in creative work.

10. Contribution

Every day, strike to make the world a better place! You can give a word of encouragement, mentor your juniors, or volunteer your time for a cause you believe in. At the end of the day, it’s what you give, not what you receive, that brings fulfillment.

I hope this list helps you maximize your day.
